Having roots on the South Carolina coastline and founding a women’s surf instructing business in South Florida, Mary Glazier has witnessed the violent amount of waste that corrupts her home and office. She seeks to repurpose and beautify single use resources through surrealist mixed media pieces.

Glazier’s playful assemblage of lost textiles and expired vintage books is equally significant to her finished piece. Breathing new life into previously lost materials, she experiments with nostalgic and feminist concepts through distorted & scaled scenery.
